Supreme's linked up with Yuketen on a custom version of the Leo sandal. It's a clean one.
About Yuketen
Yuketen is a footwear company established in 1989 by Japanese designer Yuki Matsuda. The brand built its reputation on traditional American footwear, quality materials, and serious craftsmanship. Everything they make leans into heritage construction methods, and this collab is no different.
The Sandal
There's one item in this release:
- Supreme®/Yuketen Leo Sandal
The Leo has a hand-cut, vegetable-tanned leather upper and sits on a Vibram® outsole. Inside, there's a debossed co-branded footbed. The heel gets an engraved logo metal plate. Each pair is hand-woven in Mexico exclusively for Supreme.
Three colorways are available. From the product images, you can see a dark brown, a pink, and a black. The brown pair sits on a tonal brown sole. The pink version has a black sole and contrasting black footbed, giving it a bolder look. The black pair also rides on a black sole, keeping things tonal. All three share the same woven leather construction across the upper, with a closed-toe silhouette and a slingback strap at the heel. The Supreme and Yuketen branding appears on a small gold label on the footbed.
It's a summer shoe through and through. The woven leather gives it texture and breathability without going full open-toe. The Vibram outsole means it's actually built to hold up, not just look good sitting on a shelf.
