Supreme's linking up with Bad Brains for a spring collaboration that makes perfect sense when you think about it. The D.C. hardcore legends have been influencing skate culture since the early '80s, so this feels like one of those overdue partnerships rather than a random cash grab. For those less familiar, Bad Brains started as a jazz fusion group before becoming one of the most important bands in punk history—known for playing faster and harder than pretty much anyone else while also seamlessly switching into reggae mode. Their current lineup still features the classic members: H.R. on vocals, Dr. Know on guitar, Darryl Jennifer on bass, and Earl Hudson on drums.
The collection itself is keeping things relatively focused. You're looking at:
- Vans Sk8-Hi in three colorways
- A Harrington jacket
- Two t-shirts
Release is going down April 24th at the NY and LA stores. Japan gets it slightly later—April 26th at Daikanyama and Harajuku, then April 27th in Osaka and Fukuoka. No pricing details have been announced yet, but expect standard Supreme collaboration pricing on these pieces.
