Supreme is linking up with legendary Bronx graffiti pioneer Blade this fall for a collection that pays homage to one of the most prolific writers in the game. For those who don't know, Blade earned his "King of Graffiti" title the hard way - hitting over 5,000 NYC subway trains between 1972 and the early '80s, starting when he was just 15. What set him apart wasn't just the volume, but his creative approach to letters and characters, working with perspective, abstraction, and geometry in ways that influenced generations of writers. As a founding member of The Crazy 5 crew, his legacy in graffiti history is undeniable.
The collaboration includes a hooded sweatshirt, long sleeve tee, short sleeve tee, skateboard deck, and pin featuring Blade's work. The collection drops October 6th at Supreme's NY, LA, London, and Paris stores plus online, with Japan getting it on October 8th. The Blade tees will release alongside five new graphic tees from Supreme's regular lineup.
