Supreme is paying tribute to the late Dash Snow this week with a small but meaningful collection. For those unfamiliar, Snow was a downtown New York artist who made his mark through multiple mediums - from bombing as SACE with the legendary IRAK graffiti crew to creating raw photographic work and distinctive collages that mixed tabloid cuts with unconventional materials like bodily fluids and glitter. He captured the unfiltered energy of early 2000s downtown culture before his tragic passing in 2009 at just 27 years old.
The collection is straightforward: a set of three skateboard decks (sold together, not individually) and a t-shirt, all featuring Snow's artwork. It's a fitting collaboration given the overlap between Supreme's world and the DIY subculture Snow represented.
Release details:
- Drops September 8th in-store (NY, LA, London, Paris) and online
- Japan release follows on September 10th
- Decks are sold as a three-deck set only
