The Artists
Jamie Reid is the British artist best known for creating the iconic Sex Pistols artwork, including the "God Save the Queen" cover. His collage style, ripping up text and reassembling it into provocative imagery, became a defining look of punk. The God Save Us Tee clearly channels that same cut-and-paste energy.
Lee Friedlander is one of America's most important photographers. He's been documenting American social life since the 1960s, known for his candid street photography and portraits of jazz and blues musicians. The Aretha Tee features his original photography.
Art Dealer, who contributed artwork to both the Origami Tee and the Grim Reaper Tee, handles two of the more graphic-heavy designs in this set. Marc Hundley, a New York-based artist known for his text-driven work, provides the straightforward typography on the Hard Tee.
