Gilbert \u0026 George/Supreme

Supreme's linking up with Gilbert & George this spring, bringing pieces from the legendary art duo's 1984 Pictures series to the lineup. For those unfamiliar, Gilbert Prousch and George Passmore have been working as a single artistic entity since meeting at St. Martin's School of Art in '67. Their work spans everything from sculpture and performance to photography and film, and they've never been afraid to push boundaries - touching on religion, race, sex, death, and pretty much every uncomfortable topic in between with their signature bold, grid-based photomontages.

The collection pulls from their 27-piece 1984 Pictures series, which marked their shift into applying bright color to the large-scale photographic assemblages they pioneered in the early '70s. Supreme's translating this onto wearables and decks:

  • Two hooded sweatshirts
  • Three t-shirts
  • Three skateboards

Everything drops in-store at NY, Brooklyn, LA, London, and Paris locations plus online on March 21st. Japan gets it two days later on March 23rd.
