Hard to believe it's been two decades since Larry Clark's KIDS hit screens and caused all kinds of controversy with its unflinching look at NYC skate culture in the early 90s. The film became a genuine cultural touchstone, documenting a specific moment in downtown Manhattan that included original Supreme team riders Justin Pierce and Harold Hunter in the cast. Clark connected with writer Harmony Korine and lead actor Leo Fitzpatrick through photographing the skate scene, and the result was something that still hits just as hard today as it did back in '95.
Supreme's putting together a collection to mark the anniversary, featuring stills from the film across a solid lineup:
- Hooded Sweatshirt
- Long Sleeved T-Shirt
- Two graphic T-Shirts
- Three Skateboards
Drops May 21st at Supreme NY, LA, London and online. Japan gets it May 23rd.
