Supreme is teaming up with the Miles Davis Foundation and Sony Music for a tribute to one of jazz's greatest icons. The collaboration celebrates the 50th anniversary of Kind of Blue, dropping limited edition CD reissues of three landmark albums that showcase different eras of Miles' evolution: Kind of Blue (1959), Nefertiti (1968), and On The Corner (1972). Each CD comes with digitally remastered sound, bonus tracks, a custom sticker, and packaging that recreates the original 12" album artwork.
The collection also includes a set of three graphic tees, each representing one of the albums. It's a solid way to acknowledge Miles' influence not just on music—from bebop to modal jazz to funk—but on style and culture overall. The man basically defined cool, both sonically and aesthetically.
