Supreme is teaming up with Oakley this April for a fresh take on the iconic Frogskins sunglasses. If you're not familiar, the Frogskins originally dropped in 1986 and became synonymous with '80s surf and skate culture—legends like Tom Carrol made them a staple of the era. Oakley itself has deep roots in action sports, starting with motorcycle grips in the '75 before becoming the go-to for premium performance eyewear.
What makes this collab particularly interesting is that Oakley is pulling out the original Frogskins mold for the first time since the model's heyday. Supreme will be releasing four new colorways plus one custom Supreme-pattern version of the classic frames. It's a solid nod to both brands' heritage in skate and surf culture.
The collection drops this April at Supreme stores worldwide. No word yet on retail pricing, but expect these to move quickly given the historical significance of bringing back the original mold.
