Supreme is teaming up with Playboy for a spring capsule that taps into the iconic magazine brand's cultural legacy. Founded by Hugh Hefner in 1953, Playboy's rabbit head logo transcended its men's magazine origins to become a genuine pop culture symbol—particularly during hip-hop's formative years in late '70s and early '80s New York, when the logo was everywhere from custom jackets to gold chains.
The collaboration drops March 10th at Supreme stores and online, with Japan getting it two days later on March 12th. No pricing details yet, but you can check out the full collection lineup on Supreme's site.
It's a logical partnership given both brands' connections to that golden era of NYC street culture, and the Playboy logo has proven it still resonates across generations of streetwear fans.
