Supreme's linking up with Vans this spring for a collection that New Order fans are going to appreciate. The collab brings together three classic Vans silhouettes - the SK8-Hi, Chukka, and Era - each featuring artwork from New Order's legendary 1983 album Power, Corruption & Lies. For those unfamiliar, the album cover was created by renowned English art director Peter Saville and features Henri Fantin-Latour's 19th century painting "A Basket of Roses," making this a nice intersection of music history and fine art.
Materials-wise, the Chukka and Era are getting canvas uppers with leather lining and insoles, while the SK8-Hi steps it up with premium suede and canvas uppers, also lined with leather. It's a solid construction across the board that should appeal beyond just the graphic.
The collection drops March 7th at Supreme's NY, LA, and London stores, plus online. Japan gets it two days later on March 9th.
