Supreme's linking up with photographer Ari Marcopoulos for a collection that puts his black-and-white street photography directly onto Vans sneakers, a hooded sweatshirt, and a 5-panel cap.
Who's Ari Marcopoulos?
Born in Amsterdam, Marcopoulos moved to New York City in 1979. He printed for Andy Warhol. He shot Basquiat in his bathtub. He documented the Beastie Boys on tour. The guy's been embedded in street culture, skating, art, and music for decades.
When Supreme opened its doors in 1994, Marcopoulos started hanging around and photographing many of the skaters Supreme backed. That relationship is the foundation of this collab. A selection of those images now appears across the collection.

The Sk8 Hi pairs feature collaged black-and-white photography across the uppers, with some pairs showing a bold red stripe on a grey base and others going with tan and darker tones. The Era low-tops follow the same photo-collage approach. One pair's mostly white with scattered imagery, while others come in purple and black variations with photographic panels throughout. All sit on white soles.
The hooded sweatshirt is red with an allover collage of Marcopoulos's photos in black. It's loud. The 5-panel caps come in at least a few colorways, including a teal/black combo and a white/black version, both covered in a grid-style photo layout. Every piece in the collection carries that same raw, documentary feel.
