Supreme and Nike have linked up on the Air Max 2001 Air Ecstasy. It's a new version of the early-2000s runner, made exclusively for Supreme in three colorways.
Looking at the photos, we're seeing a red with yellow outsole combo, a white with light blue accents, and an all-black version. Each pair carries that unmistakable early-millennium silhouette. Chunky. Aggressive. The kind of shoe that looked futuristic in 2001 and hits different now.
Details
The shoe's got a quilted mesh upper with 3M Reflective TPU logos on the side and heel. The midsole is Phylon with transparent air bags visible through the sole. Reflective hits show up on the lace loops and a panel on the tongue. There are debossed graphics at the heel and midsole, plus a co-branded footbed with mesh collar and tongue lining. Rubber outsole rounds it out.

The original Air Max 2001 dropped at the turn of the century as part of Nike's annual Air Max lineup. It sat in a weird spot between performance runner and lifestyle shoe. Never got the same love as the Air Max 97 or 95, which makes it a solid pick for a Supreme collab. Less played out. The Air Ecstasy variant pushed the design even further with its exaggerated lines and aggressive TPU overlays.
From the images, the red colorway pops the hardest. Yellow outsole, red upper, black accents. The white pair keeps things cleaner with those icy blue details across the upper. The black version goes tonal with subtle white outline detailing on the TPU panels. All three have that visible air unit in the heel catching light.
These drop August 27th. Asia gets them August 29th. Available through Supreme's online store and physical locations.
