Supreme is linking up with Public Image Ltd for a Fall 2022 collection that pulls from the legendary post-punk outfit's visual archive. For those unfamiliar, PiL was formed by John Lydon in 1978 after his Sex Pistols days ended, and the band became known for pushing boundaries with a sound that mixed everything from dub to folk. They're widely considered one of the most innovative acts in music history, and after a long hiatus, they've been active again since 2009.
The collection features album artwork across seven pieces total: a Trench Coat, Shirt, Baseball Top, Sweatshort, two T-Shirts, and a 5-Panel Hat. It's a solid range that should appeal to both PiL fans and anyone looking for graphics with some actual cultural weight behind them.
Drops November 17th in the US and Europe, with Japan getting it November 19th. No pricing details yet, but expect standard Supreme tier pricing for each category.
