Supreme is teaming up with Tokyo-based label Sasquatchfabrix for Spring 2016, bringing together some interesting traditional Japanese silhouettes with Supreme's aesthetic. For those unfamiliar, Sasquatchfabrix was founded by Daisuke Yokoyama back in 2003 and has built its reputation on blending Western and traditional Japanese influences - a cultural fusion that traces back to post-WWII Japan. The brand's approach to reflecting social and cultural moments through clothing has made them a respected name in Tokyo's fashion scene.
The collaboration spans nine pieces total, featuring some standout Japanese-inspired items alongside more familiar streetwear staples. The lineup includes:
- Hanten Coat and Hanten Shirt
- Chino Pant and Hakama Short
- Long Sleeve and Short Sleeve T-Shirts
- Slip On Shoe
- Crane Crusher
- Folding Fan
Everything drops April 14th at Supreme's NY, LA, London, and Paris stores, plus online. Japan gets it April 16th. All pieces are made exclusively for this collaboration.
