Supreme is linking up with thrash metal legends Slayer for a Fall 2016 collection that brings together two cult followings. For those unfamiliar, Slayer emerged from Southern California in 1981 and basically helped define the aggressive sound and aesthetic of thrash metal - we're talking fast, heavy, and unapologetically dark. With 12 albums and over 20 million records sold, they've maintained that same intensity for decades, which makes this collaboration feel pretty natural.
The collection itself is solid, covering all the bases you'd expect from a Supreme collab:
- M-65 Jacket and Coaches Jacket
- Sweater, Waffle Thermal, Hooded Sweatshirt, and Crewneck
- Sweatpants
- Four graphic T-Shirts
- 5-Panel Hat
Everything drops in-store (NY, LA, London, Paris) and online on November 10th, with Japan getting it on November 12th. Whether you're a metalhead or just appreciate the crossover of two iconic brands, this one should be worth checking out.
