What We're Looking At
The Suede Puffer Jacket is the standout. It's a chunky, oversized silhouette in suede, available in what looks like tan, gold, pink, and a two-tone cream/peach option. Heavy piece. The kind of thing that'll move fast.
The Ventile® Utility Jacket has a military workwear feel. Ventile is a densely woven cotton fabric originally developed in WWII for British pilots. It's naturally water-resistant. The jackets come through in olive, pink, black, and what appears to be a tan or khaki. Multiple front pockets, boxy cut.
The Polartec® Jacket is a fleece zip-up with Timberland branding on the chest. Pink and black options are visible. Clean and simple. The L/S Football Top features horizontal stripes and bold Timberland graphics across the chest. Several colorways here, including navy/red stripe, black, cream with a pink/red graphic, and a dark striped version.
The Thermal Lined Zip Up Hooded Sweatshirt comes in yellow, dark navy, black, and red. Timberland's tree logo and Supreme branding sit on the chest. Thermal lining should make these solid layering pieces heading into colder months.
The Double Knee Denim Utility Pant shows up in dark indigo, black, and lighter washes. Reinforced knees, workwear DNA. The Sweatpants come in black, red, grey, and what looks like an olive or dark tone, with Timberland and Supreme graphics on the leg.
Accessories round it out. The Beanie has a large Timberland tree logo in orange, pink, and gold tones. The Polartec® Balaclava comes in what appears to be a dark navy or black fleece.
About Timberland
Timberland's name comes from the waterproof leather boot the Abington Shoe Company launched in 1973. Nathan Swartz had bought into the New Hampshire bootmaker in 1952, and his sons renamed the whole business The Timberland Company in 1978. The brand built its reputation on rugged outdoor footwear before becoming a streetwear staple in the '90s, adopted heavily by hip-hop culture in New York City. Supreme and Timberland have collaborated multiple times over the years.
The collection drops October 22nd on supreme.com and at Supreme stores. Asia release follows October 24th.
