Supreme/Wu-Tang Clan

Supreme/Wu-Tang Clan

Supreme is linking up with Wu-Tang Clan this fall for a collection that spans the full range of what you'd expect from a proper collaboration. The lineup includes a GORE-TEX jacket and matching pants, a hockey jersey, hooded sweatshirt, t-shirt, GORE-TEX camp cap, beanie, skateboard deck, plus a Meissen porcelain mug and tray set. It's a solid mix of wearable pieces and collectibles that should appeal to both the skate crowd and hip-hop heads.

The partnership makes sense given Supreme's deep roots in '90s New York culture - the same era when Wu-Tang was reshaping hip-hop with their debut Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). That 1993 album, with RZA's grimy production and the collective's raw lyricism across tracks like "Protect Ya Neck," became an instant classic that stood apart from the smoother West Coast sound dominating at the time. The group's follow-up Wu-Tang Forever debuted at number one in 1997 and remains a testament to their vision nearly three decades later.

The collection drops October 30th in the US and Europe, with Asia getting it November 1st. No official pricing yet, but expect the GORE-TEX pieces to sit at the higher end and the graphics to move quickly regardless.
